Many Lindbergh students are unaware that every Tuesday a group of LHS students come together and give their opinions about what is in the news. This group is called Philosophy club. Sam Stoddard (11) isn’t only a student involved in the club, but also the Philosophy Club president.
“We discuss current events and other philosophical topics, it’s a chance for people to share and hear opinions,” said Stoddard.
Often when opinions are shared there are disagreements, as president, Stoddard tries to avoid conflicts by encouraging everyone to keep an open mind.
“We focus on being open to other opinions,” said Stoddard.
The open-minded atmosphere in Philosophy Club is a great place for students to talk and express their opinions.
