Q&A with senior track athlete Tyler Ishmon
Q: What is your favorite track event to run?
A: My favorite track event is the open 100, becuase its the shortest and fastest race ever.
Q: What is your favorite thing about track?
A: My sprint crew!
Q: What do you like most about track meets? Why?
A: The 4×400 relay. Its the last race of the meet and everyone is in, what the Flyers call, “Blood Alley”. The entire team comes together to cheer the relay teams on.
Q: What is one of your favorite memories of track from your four seasons?
A: My favorite memory from all four years is going to State in 2011.
Q: What is your funniest track moment?
A: Giving myself a black eye when running with a baton Haha.
Q: What will you miss most about high school track?
A: The team, coming to track meets, and other schools calling Lindbergh an army.
Q: What are some words of wisdom for incoming sprinters?
A: JUST GO!
