Coming up on December 7 is a school-wide blood drive to help support Jake Franzel (12),  a student here at Lindbergh who was diagnosed with bone cancer, and the entire St. Louis community.

The drive will be run by the Senior Activities Committee and many are excited to not just feel like they are committing a good deed, but truly know that they are making a difference.

Students and community members should come to the multi-purpose room to donate. Donors will receive a free t-shirt.

“It’s a real good cause, it’s quick, and you get a free shirt! Plus you get to get out of class,” said Hannah Marler (12).

For more information, or to set up an appointment, call Sue Franzel at (314) 791-9514.

One last reminder: be sure to consume lots of food and water before giving blood to prevent wooziness (but if anyone’s worried about feeling dizzy or sick, a snack table is provided to relieve any discomfort following the donation).
