After much hesitation over whether or not to host the annual Snowball Winter Dance, Stuco decided to move forward with the project. Due to low attendance in past years, the school organization had to find new ways to bring the crowd in.
What simply started as an online poll, open to the student body to pick the dance’s theme and dj, ended in a huge “Mardi Gras Madness.” Not only did students pay to dance the night away, but some students got a VIP pass. This allowed them to enter the multi-purpose room throughout the dance to enjoy food and refreshments.
The attendence reached over 500, and everyone left with nothing but good things to say about one of Stuco’s biggest events of the year. The success of Saturday, February 4 will determine if winter dances will remain at Lindbergh.
