Freshman Survival Guide
- Students need to learn that people will love you for who you are, don’t change yourself to fit in. You’ll regret it in the end.
- Walk on the right side of the hallway!
- Join a group or a club, it’s the best way to meet new people.
- Just because you meet new people doesn’t mean you should drop your old ones.
- Create good relationships with your teachers.
- Take opportunities for tutoring before or after school with teachers.
- The week before school starts go take a tour of Lindbergh to familiarize with your classrooms.
- Take your freshman year seriously because it does count.
- Save important tests, quizzes, or packets from every class to help study for finals.
- Semester finals are not the end of the world, there is the freshman finals cram for extra help.
- Your parents are there for support, so don’t make them your enemies
- It’s always great to get a head start on school supplies. although teachers will tell you exactly what you need the first day.
- Take your required electives freshman and sophomore year, so senior year can be more fun.
- When you find yourself in a relationship, don’t ditch your friends because they are the people you will count on in the end. A lot of people find this out the hard way.
- Don’t make out in the hallways! No one wants to see you stick your tongue down someone else’s throat.
- Take time to enjoy high school, before you know it, it’s graduation day.
