“And the Rose Goes To…”

DISCLAIMER: THIS REVIEW DOES HAVE SPOILERS FROM THE FINALE. IF YOU HAPPEN TO LIVE UNDER A ROCK AND ARE UNAWARE OF THE OUTCOME, DON’T COME CRYING TO ME BECAUSE YOU DECIDED TO IGNORE THIS.

Ever since the dreamy Ben Higgins stepped foot on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season of The Bachelorette this past summer, I’ve been completely head-over-heels in love for him. Higgins considered himself “unlovable” when Bristowe ended their relationship on the nationally televised reality show, and Bachelor Nation (fan base for the series) demanded more of him. The Indiana native was given the opportunity to find his potential wife on his own season of The Bachelor.

In case you are unaware of how The Bachelor franchise works, one bachelor or bachelorette with approximately 25 men or women that fight for the love and possible matrimony of the bachelor/ette. All of the women are pretty much stuck in one mansion together while going through the process of gaining love from the bachelor/ette. When the bachelor/ette doesn’t feel a strong connection with the contestants, they get eliminated through rose ceremonies, in which the ones who get stay receive a rose from the bachelor/ette. (Wow, this show makes a lot more sense if you actually watch it). But anyways, you can imagine that a bunch of people stuck in one house fighting over one person to marry would cause a lovely amount of drama. Well, you aren’t wrong.
