As Fashion Week is occurring across the globe right now for the spring  collections, it is time to look back at fall fashion predictions and how work these into our everyday style. Many trends are showing up on the runways that can be achievable for everyone.

An easy way to follow this year’s fashion is using the  fall colors, and it seems that many designers went with red. Design houses such as Givenchy, Balenciaga, and Yves Saint Laurent used the color in their clothing, accessories, and the models makeup They can be any shade of red many models were wearing mismatched shades of red in one outfit.

“I love the color red, I got dyed my hair a deep red for the fall season actually,” Kaylen LaCira (12) said.

Using this color goes hand and hand with another recurring theme of vintage and new style, Americana. These sleek looks featured star motifs along with the rest of our nation’s colors in simple designs (to avoid tackiness).

A line  decided to go against the usual and made a collection featuring  “Winter Florals.”  These patterns compliment the fall time with cooler tones. They are not the bright pastel spring florals that come to mind, but one color that was shown a lot with these was blue.

Next comes the street styles that the people attending fashion week were seen in. Street style is when high fashion enters into mainstream everyday fashion. They are easier for the everyday person to join along. Wide leg pants with different designs such as stripes are very common this season.

Another popular fashion item are corsets which made their debut back into mainstream fashion not too long ago. They are now usually worn over clothing instead of under, but not always.  Celebrities such as Rihanna, Kim Kardashian, and Beyoncé have worn many outfits with different variations of a corset on top.

Appearing in clothing a lot more often now is one simple word. Straps. It has become wildly popular to add straps, buckles, and what looks like a harness attached to a piece of clothing.

Many of these high fashion collections can be converted into everyone’s budget. No one has to buy the exact articles of clothing everyone can interpret their own style and become inspired by high fashion looks. What do you wanna wear this season?
