  1. “I heard that not all the math classrooms are in the math building. Is this true? Which ones are they?” – Samir Benbakir

Yes it is true Samir, there are multiple math classes that do not reside in the math building. While we’re not sure exactly sure which classes they are, we are sure there are a few located near the 30’s hall, in the science department, and maybe even a few more areas throughout the school. They were placed there to accommodate for space and for student injuries since the math building lacks an elevator. The construction of the math building dates back to around 1975 and we believe it was the third to be built, but little did that know at the time that our school would have to accommodate for over 2,400 students.

  1. “My dog died recently. How do I get him back?” – Anonymous

Well, we found a website that just might have an answer for you. First, its gotta be at night, preferably under a full moon, but any old moon will do, as long as it’s not a new one. Then, take a stick or a rock or something of that nature and draw a pentagram over the grave of your subject. Then, light your candle, any color will work (in that case, make it purple, have some fun). Light it at the headstone and recite this chance “for thou who sleeps in stone and clay, heed this call, rise up and obey. Trek on through the mortal door, assemble flash and walk once more”.after that a strong gust of wind wind should blow out your candle, if that happens, it worked, if not, try again on another night. Best not try it again on the same night, it won’t work as well. Hope you have fun!

  1. I need help with understanding the new slang. I heard people greeting others with “saw dude”, and I truly don’t understand what it means and how to use it. I would ask my friends, but I’m afraid they would laugh at me. Another phrase that baffles me is “finess”, such as, “I’m gonna finess your pen”. – Jessica DeLeon

That is a very good question as I believe many feel the way you do about these slang terms. The term “sah dude” originated from a famous vine by Nick Colletti and it is a way of saying “what’s up dude?” You should only use it in greeting your friends however because it is a very informal term and saying “sah dude” to your teachers would result in a dirty look or even a detention. You also spelled finesse wrong but it means to smoothly talk around people or objects according to Urban Dictionary. When someone finesses something, they are able to take it with a special art of persuasion or trickery. Just to update you however, both of these terms are somewhat outdated and more modern slang terms would be somewhere along the lines of “lit” and “dank.” Use these in order to keep up with the cool kids.
