The Flyers are halfway through their season, holding a record of two wins and three losses. Although Lindbergh hasn’t had the start that they wanted, things are starting to look up. The Flyers came off with some big wins against Fox and Chaminade but fell short of Ladue, Summit, and Pattonville.

On September 9th the Flyers came off a big win against Fox with a score of 42-14. The starting running back Victor Weahton had an outstanding game with 1 touchdown and 103 rushing yards, averaging 5.42 rushing yards a play. Weahton has achieved a total of 396 rushing yards as the Flyers running back this season.

In the Flyers game against Fox, Owen Norman, the Flyers quarterback, had a great game with 170 passing yards while averaging 8.95 passing yards a play.

Wide receiver Terrell Watts said, “They started off hot but we had to get back with the same amount of energy.”

Although Fox came out ready to play, Lindbergh was able to capitalize on them.

Full back Brody Wharton commented, “Our defense not only dominated Fox but we wanted to embarrass them.”

Throughout the game, it was a struggle for Fox to get by the Flyer’s defense, with Lindbergh having a total of 45 sacks that game. Furthermore, the Flyers totaled 290 rushing yards while Fox only reached 200.
